Our experienced, industry leading instructors and friendly staff offers comprehensive, hands-on curriculum taught exclusively in a small class-size environment. Each classroom offers a work-station for learning purposes, for each student.

Our Master Makeup and Professional Makeup courses allow students to focus on the art and techniques of makeup artistry, plus advanced courses that allow students to advance their careers and skill-set within professional artistry.

Our Students, upon completion of the Master Makeup and Professional Makeup courses, receive an Industry Recognized Diploma and have an opportunity to participate in a professional photo shoot to begin their professional portfolios. Upon completion of these courses: Basic Makeup 101, Fashion & Runway Makeup, TV & Music Video Makeup, Basic Hairstyling for Makeup Artists and Airbrush Makeup & Sunless, students receive an Industry Recognized Certificate.

Our Graduates have secured opportunities and careers in the make-up industry such as lead artists during New York, Los Angeles and Miami Fashion Weeks. They are also in management and leading positions for brands such as Chanel, MAC and Sephora. Many are working with celebrity clientele, on television and movie makeup sets, as well as freelance business owners in bridal and studio settings.

The Chic Studios team is comprised of an incredibly talented array of professionals— all of whom love to help and empower others both in the classroom or in an online setting. All Chic Educators have 8+ years working experience.

Amy is an entrepreneur and beauty expert, and the CEO and Founder of Chic Studios School of Makeup. Amy began with her first makeup academy in 2009 in New York City, and then quickly grew to include Los Angeles and Denver. Chic Studios, under Amy’s leadership, was able to expand its training during 2020 to successfully launch an on-line makeup academy. Chic Studios has graduated over 4000+ professional artists.

Amy launched ‘The Chic Experience’ in 2022, as an experiential events company to connect and inspire like-minded women and creative entrepreneurs worldwide. The success of The Chic Retreat (focusing on self development), followed by The Chic Summit (focusing on Business + Leadership) coming soon, November 2&3 2023, and the Summer Series, all under ‘The Chic Experience’ umbrella.

Originally from Canada, Amy has worked extensively in both Los Angeles and New York City, refining her skills both as a makeup artist and as a business owner and leader. Amy is a regular speaker on panels, and regularly contributes to the learning and growth of numerous small community-based nonprofits and small businesses.
