Black Lives Matter

Chic Studios hears you, sees you, stands with you.
#BLM
Chic Studios – School of Makeup stands for love, kindness, equality, and humanity. We see your color, we see your strength, we see you as one. As a school who takes pride in its diversity, we would like to shine light on the current situation at hand and give our solidarity to the black community that has been facing injustice. We hear your pain and will use our platform in every way possible to support and make a stance. #togetherwerestronger.
We credit people of color for starting and maintaining successful careers and businesses, leading the way to influence others to follow their dreams. These include makeup brands, celebrities, models, makeup artists, activists, real estate agents, accountants, etc.
Without black women and men, the beauty industry will not be where it is today. Here are some of Chic’s favorite makeup brands started by people of color.
Miami makeup artist Cristina (@cristinartistry) shares misconceptions often faced with black beauty and dark-skinned makeup. Here are some ways to be mindful and stay educated.
