Time to put away your shorts and tank tops and bring out cozy sweaters and boots! Fall is right around the corner (it officially begins on September 22)! We’re excited to celebrate the return of pumpkin spice lattes, leaves changing colors, and Halloween. Not only that, the return of darker and more romantic looks that match the season. Here are our favorite makeup trends to get inspired from and incorporate into your beauty routine!

Nothing screams autumn more than a burgundy lip- a staple for the Fall season! It’s a romantic look that is fitting for the colder months and can be paired together with a dramatic cut crease or a simple cat eye (pictured above). Wearing dark lipstick can be intimidating, but it can also be empowering! Our pro tip would be to line and fill in your lips with a similar colored lip liner. For extra reinforcement for your budge-free lip, blot some lipstick off and then reapply.
Feathery Lashes

Full false lashes not only look great, but they make your eyes look larger and more awake. As long as your lashes and brows are on, you’ll instantly look more put together! Keep your eyeshadow simple for a modern touch that won’t overpower those voluminous false lashes. We also suggest giving your bottom lashes some extra TLC as well! Just apply a coat of mascara and line your waterline with black eyeliner. For an extra touch of drama, add some bottom individual false eyelashes as well.
Angelic Glow

Time to lighten up on the heavy-handed highlight and contouring! It’s all about placing your highlight on strategic places like your forehead and top of your cheekbone. These areas are where you want people to look at and be mesmerized by your glow. Another pro tip would be to enhance it more with either a luminizing primer or highlight stick. Even when the weather is gloomy, you’ll stay looking sun kissed even during the stormiest days!
Nude Lips

Great news for our beauty lovers: you can wear your nude lipsticks all year round! Stick out from the crowd and rock your favorite summer lip instead if you’re not feeling a darker lip color. Shades in the range of peaches, pinks, beiges, and browns bring and show warmth to your face. Pair everything off with an eye look that’s PSL-inspired and you’re ready to go!
Stay tuned for next week where we talk to our Chic Studios’ instructors about their favorite Fall products!
